This love story all began in 2013 when Ashley joined a writing forum that Philip ran. Over the years they formed a small global community that regularly met over Google Meets. Even after the group disbanded some friendships remained.

In 2019 Philip invited Ashley to meet him in Arizona and against her better judgment…she agreed. There definitely was a spark that weekend but they decided there was too much distance from Calgary and Toronto.

In 2020 Philip flew out Calgary for Christmas and they finally decided to give long distance a try with the caveat that he would move to Calgary in a year or end the relationship. December of 2021 Philip drove across the country and in December of 2023 he proposed, Ashley of course said yes!

So now Ashley and Philip invite you to join them in Jamaica as they start the next stage of their journey together!
